About Me

Hi, my name is Anika Schmid. My major is Writing with a concentration in Professional Writing and Publishing.

Growing up in Florida, I love spending time at the beach each summer and taking photos. I have always loved photography, but my passion grew after becoming a yearbook staff member.

I have published 20 online newspaper stories. Some of my work is featured in The Spartan Storyteller, which includes multimedia stories.

In the future, I hope to work for a publishing company as an editor. I also want to write and publish my own book, since I enjoy writing original stories in my free time.
