Web Design

Sulphur Springs Museum Website

I redesigned and modernized the Wix website for the Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center, a local nonprofit.

  • Developed layouts for twenty web pages and appropriately formatted text and images

  • Standardized fonts, font sizes, and color scheme for consistency

  • Optimized content and design for mobile users, which were half of website visitors

  • Strengthened search engine optimization (SEO) by adding meta descriptions to each page and alternative text to all images

  • Condensed text into chunks and eliminated filler words, following best practices for digital writing

  • Added more photos and videos of past events and exhibits to emphasize community-bonding

  • Inserted dividers to make adding or removing content easier for the staff
