Web Design
Sulphur Springs Museum Website
I redesigned and modernized the Wix website for the Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center, a local nonprofit.
-
Developed layouts for twenty web pages and appropriately formatted text and images
-
Standardized fonts, font sizes, and color scheme for consistency
-
Optimized content and design for mobile users, which were half of website visitors
-
Strengthened search engine optimization (SEO) by adding meta descriptions to each page and alternative text to all images
-
Condensed text into chunks and eliminated filler words, following best practices for digital writing
-
Added more photos and videos of past events and exhibits to emphasize community-bonding
-
Inserted dividers to make adding or removing content easier for the staff
